Best thing I could have done for my pain

I was in daily excruciating sacrum and tailbone pain for nine months. Seeing Kevin was the best thing I could have done for my pain. When I first went to Kevin my pain level was about an 8.5-9 out of 10. I could not sit with any level of comfort whatsoever. The first treatment immediately brought some relief. I am now virtually pain-free and recovered. Kevin is excellent at sharing what it is he is doing, what he has intuitively picked up on in regards to injury and/or pain in the body. I told him he works magic... that the gentlest and simplest of touches can so profoundly affect one's health and ability still astounds me! He is kind, gentle, knowledgeable, intuitive, and profoundly effective in his treatment style and approach. Kevin ensures wellness is transpired for the client through his expertise and care.

Feel better for longer compared to other treatments

As a desk worker, Kevin's approach to addressing and correcting my neck, shoulders, and upper back pain was fantastic. I can easily sit for 8-10 hours a day, and as I've gotten older, that has taken a toll. I highly recommend seeing Kevin if you're an office/remote worker! The difference between seeing Kevin and other practitioners is that I feel better for a longer time. With other treatments, I find they help immediately but wear off quickly. However, with osteopathy, I can go weeks and sometimes months without a recurrence. Kevin's holistic approach to both understanding and addressing my concerns sets him apart from others I've seen. He always listens to understand what my complaints are and adjusts the treatment sessions accordingly. He also takes the time to help me understand why my body is acting the way it is.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Osteopathy is a hands-on manual therapy that seeks to identify and treat the root cause of the problem. Through a series of physical tests and assessments Osteopathic Manual Practitioners seek to identify areas of the body that are limited or restricted that are preventing the body from functioning optimally, resulting in symptoms such as immobility and pain. Using a refined sense of touch, the aim is to bring these areas back to a proper state of health so that they can function effectively and efficiently, thus reducing or eliminating the symptoms you may be experiencing.

  • The appointment will begin with a discussion of your concerns. This will be followed by a physical assessment to determine what areas are not functioning as well as they should that may be contributing to your problem. These areas will then be addressed using gentle manual osteopathic techniques.

  • It is easiest to work on people wearing loose comfortable clothing.
